Greetings:
I am trying to decide between a LiPo and LiOn battery to go along with the powerboost 500c I want to use as a charger for my phone. I see that you have to have a charger for a LiPo battery but I want to know if I could just charge it from plugging in the micro - USB and having it charge from that. Maybe I read that wrong but it seems another step and a reason to go with LiOn batteries.
Thanks.

Re: Charger for a LIPo battery
Both LiPo and Lion batteries require a charger. If you have a battery pack that charges direct from USB, it is because it has a charge circuit built into the pack.
