EL wire 4xAAA pocket inverter not working as intended
I bought the EL wire 4xAAA pocket inverter PRODUCT ID: 564, and it powers up because I can hear it but it powers none of my EL wires. I tried all four connector wires on all 4 connector pins with 5 different EL wires and none light up. How can I request a refund?

Could you post a picture of the inverter with a cable attached?

That's a pretty clear demonstration of an inverter not lighting EL wire. Forgive me, but I couldn't help thinking, "nothing up my sleeve.." ;-)
One quick test to nail it down: take a voltage reading from the lowest '-' connection to the highest '+' connection in the battery compartment. If that's in the 4.8v to 6v range, we can call it a failure somewhere in the inverter or output wiring.

Close enough..
Send a note to [email protected] with a link to this thread and the folks there will get you a replacement for the inverter (#564).
