I have this servo driver (used currently with 5V/2A power supply, powering three servos)

I was wondering if I could use batteries to power... Would this work directly?

Thanks for any help.
Can I used batteries with this servo driver?

Re: Can I used batteries with this servo driver?
You can power your servos with batteries, but a 6xAA pack with alkaline cells will put out 9v, which is to much for most servos. Most common RC servos are designed to run on about 4.5v to 6v.
A 4xAA battery holder with alkaline cells is 6v.
With rechargeable cells it is 4.8v.
