Raspberry Pi in pocket pigrrl won't work properly with adafr

Post by andrewbevelhymer »

I just built the pocket pigrrl and It was working great and a lot of fun but all of a sudden when I turn the power on the screen just turns on and stays white even when I know it is booting to RetroPie because the green led and I can see it in a hdmi monitor if I connect it to a monitor. Also, it's not the screen because if I put the sd card in a b+ and plug it into the pitft everything works fine. Any suggestions?

Did you use the PiGRRL IMG or manually install everything? I believe I encouraged a similar problem while manually installing FBCP and adding controls. Try checking the config.txt file and see if the over clock settings match up with the one in the guide.

I used the pre made image. I checked the config file and everything matched up. Still. It sure what the issue is.

*not sure what the issue is. Are you sure its a software issue? Because the software works with a model b+ and the 2.4" pitft.

Okay I installed cupcade on a sd card and not even that won't work so I guess something must be up with the Pi I'll see if I can find something and if not I guess I'll have to buy a new one:/
