Can this pump sticky material? Something like cerelac texture of a little bit finer than a ceralac? It says it is used for food and drink but what kind of food? Thank you! We need this for our project in one of our modules and that is to transfer the mixed texture in a another container automatically.
If it's not, can we use l239d to at least drive it?

Re: Peristaltic Pump Adafruit product
The pump mostly cares about the viscosity of the material flowing through the tube.
If you can suck it up a straw without collapsing the straw, the pump should be able to handle it. Cream, egg whites, and maple syrup should all be okay. Honey would be iffy, and sour cream probably wouldn't work at all.
Please note the warning on the product page which says the tubing included with the pump isn't sterile, and isn't FDA/USDA compliant.

Thank you! We are not really transferring a food. We're making a bioplastic like in this picture:
Too sad, it looks like it is impossible. :( Do you have any suggestion what kind of pump to use? Something as small as this adafruit product? Thank you.

Sounds like a job for a screw conveyor: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screw_conveyor
Industrial screw conveyors are usually 6" to 12" in diameter, but people have made smaller ones using things like drill bits.
