Hello
I was trying to get some information to understand if the adafruit gps module is fast enough to collect good data around a track (Small formula car)(just bigger than a go-kart). And was looking for a good accelerometer to use in conjunction. What would ya'll recommend? would I be better off using my iphone and creating an app that could data log??? Thanks for the help

How fast do you need it? The GPS is capable of up to 10 updates/second.

Thanks Rick for the reply
I was look at to use an acellrometer alone with the gps. I was looking at the 345 model. Do you think that is way more than I need? +-2 would be to high to get reading for a gokart? Which one would you recommend buying? And which would work best with the gps.

Re: GPS and Accelrometer Help Track Use
Depending on the power of the go-kart, I'd expect most acceleration and turning forces to be 1G or less. But +/- 2G gives you some headroom to measure higher peak forces. The ADXL345 is fairly easy to work with. It is not 'plug and play' to make it work with the GPS though. You will need to write some code.
