LED button tab width

Post by Nebozilla »

Hi,

I'm connecting up an LED button (PN: 491) but I'm having difficulty using a female disconnect pair that fits snugly on the LED's tabs. There are plently of 1/4" and 3/16" female QDs but I'm having difficulty finding 0.22" QDs...

I'm not opposed to soldering but do you know of any 0.22" QDs, or a different solution to connect these guys?

Thanks,
Brandon

Unfortunately no. None of the major distributors have quick-connect lugs that size. The standard sizes above and below are 0.205" and 0.250". Our best guess is that they're intended to be solder lugs.

You can try using 0.250" clips and compressing them slightly with a pair of pliers.

Yeah that's what I've resorted to and it'll do. Thanks for the response.
