Somatic Circuits? (Australian X0X Builder)

Hey all. First post here (obviously!). Lately, I've been REALLY wanting a X0X to team up with my Elektron Machinedrum. Just for simple bass line carnage, nothing more!

Spent some time looking around & contacting builders/dealers and I'm REALLY interested in a certain builder/company that goes by "Somatic Circuits". I've talked to the chief and he seems to be a real stand-up guy
and all but after searching for buyers/reviews of "Somatic Circuits" here (and coming up emtpy handed) I had to
ask the question:

Does this builder have a bad rep? I'm sure if he did... it'd be strung out all over these forums, or at least contained to one bashing thread, anyway!

Please let me know guys. I really dig the casing and the 'lack of flash' all 'round.
Another thing... he's in Australia and I'm in the USA... a small deterant.
Hope the taxes/duties on the shipping isn't too high...

He posts here regularly and seems well respected here. But being in Oz, and you in the USA, you might have some import costs to consider?
There are some well respected builders in the USA too, like www.x0xsource.com for example.

Somehow, import duties have never been an issue, for me at least. When I ordered a main board from Willzyx, it cost nothing other than the additional postage.

Awesome! Glad he posts here often and is respected. Makes me feel safe!
Almost feel like a fool, but I liked his site/X0X design so much that I had to
double check just to be positive all was well.
