ice tube problem max circuit

Hello
I am writing about the kit ICE CUBE
at the entrance of 7805 I have a 9-volt outlet and I have 5 volts or without the tube without Max 6921 I have the 56 volts the diode once I deliver the MAX in 6921 support the voltage at the diode drops to 13 volts and the tube does not light course could you please inform me about this problem I added the welds are very good I used to do electronics it does there is no wiring problems thank you

When did you buy the kit? Can you read the part number on q3?

hello

I buy the kit at home complete with the transparent box and the transformer so the transistor Q3 is a 2907 it was with the other components thank you for your reply.

This part has been replaced with a P-channel MOSFET in recent versions of the kit. You can contact support@adafruit.com and ask for a new Ice Tube MOSFET. Please reference this thread and your order number in the message.

After checking I realized I had to order the kit from FLORIS.CC in Holland when placing my order with you it was out of stock, what reference you use for the transistor Q3 component? thank you again, you have version 1.1 on your kit and it is possible to buy just please the microprocessor? thank you again

The kits currently ship with a ZVP3306 or equivalent. These are not expensive (less than $1 US) You can probably source one from a local supplier.

Do you think that I just replace the transistor to troubleshoot the kit? or should it also change the regulator and the boost circuit? if so could you tell me the rates for you to order ZVP3306, STP16NF06 STP16NF06 gold, Vishay
