Hi All...
I have a board and got a Kapton stencil which, for the most part, worked well. There are two ICs though that have smaller pitch legs. Not technically fine pitch, but close. These came out of my toaster oven with solder bridges. One IC usually has 1 or 2 bridges, but an even smaller IC is nearly one big bridge across the legs.
Someone suggested I reduce the aperture size for those chips, so the opening is thinner than the pad. Can someone suggest how much smaller the opening should be? Also, I can;t seem to get Eagle to do this. Is there a program that let's me edit a gerber file?
Thanks...
