3V on Data lines

3V on Data lines

Hi just recieved my MintyBoost yesterday and tried it with my iPod touch 3g, it give me the yellow triangle. Can you post a picture of the other side (component) of the board? Just want to make sure all the resistors and caps are in the right places.

From the pictures of the components it looks like you installed the resistors in the wrong spots.

Swap R2 and R4 with R1 and R3.

R2 and R4 should be: Violet Green Black Red Brown

R1 and R3 should be: Yellow White White Red Brown

I almost got my resistors mixed up on this kit.

Always test your resistors with a multimeter, even if you have a good magnifier/helping hands... it's not too difficult for lighting to change the color of the banding, making 1 color look like another..
