Accent Out - Details?

Postby Syd » Sat Sep 03, 2011 9:47 pm

I am looking for more detail information on adding the Accent Out mod to a x0xb0x i'm building. I believe it is the same thing as the x0xi0 and the Devilfish mod version. I have not been able to find much info other then the signal is taken from pin 2 of vr4. More details or a schematic would be greatly appreciated.

are you looking for a trigger out
from the accent
or an analog cv that represents the accent sweep

As I understand it the Accent notes are sent out a separate output. Audio output.

im not certain how its supposed to work
but if it is a seperate output
for just the accented notes
then it will require some more circuitry
and isnt just a wire tap

you would need another 4066
which would switch the audio signal
based on the accent trigger signal

Is that how it is done on the x0xi0 and Devilfish? Has anyone done this sort of mod?

ok, well upon further research I've learned that the "Accent Out" is a CV only mod. Apparently there's, currently, no such mod. Too bad as this would be a cool way to send your audio to different output. Although I'm still not sure if it's even possible; I may try looking into it further.
