started playing with the USBtinyISP... ambition is to use it not for spokepov but to program microcontrollers for other projects (firstly namely an automated cellphone dialer).
soldered, plugged in, green light, drivers installed all rosy.
the attiny2313 inside can't be read in avrdude though?
initialization failed, rc=-1
is it supposed to be readable / writeable? yikes sorry guys I'm just new to this.

I guess to begin with, knowing what OS / version you're running might help. Other than that, I'm guessing everyone's busy with turkey and Black Friday.

you need to connect the USBtiny to a new chip, check the product page and tutorial for some examples
