The LEDs on this item takes a 5v source?

yes
they are an LED, so you will want to put a resistor in series, 5V shoudl work fine. use a LED resistor calculator to determine what resistor value you need

What size connectors will work best on this item, 4.8mm or 6.3mm?

hi Satellites, you posted a question at 4PM and we responded at 5:45PM a week ago requesting more information. We would like to help you but its unclear what you mean by "connectors" - the button has to have a hole drilled to connect it to a plate and that hole is 16mm diameter. but it seems you might be asking about something else. if you can post a detailed question we can give you a detailed answer but we don't know what you're asking about in specific. Please give us some more information so we can help you out!
