Another reason I will never deal with these scumbags.

is including a "Original design by Adafruit" somewhere really too much to ask?

sic'em Phil.

you're right...
and btw: they call it x0xb0x V2 (or MK2) but in fact it's a normal x0xb0x with absolutely no changes to the original layout.
I have one... who want's to see some pics from inside?

oh no... I have not bought this machine
one of my customers send it to me for some corrections and to exchange some parts and the enclosure.

cheers

2 of their other products have computer-generated pictures instead of real images of the devices

what they *do* have written in their "normal" x0xb0x product (at the bottom of the page) ... they only mention some "banned student" and there's a oddly-written story afterwards..
like broken english or something?

done.

thanks for pointing this out, i sent a note on tues feb 7th to them. michael has updated the page, it now says "Based on the original x0xb0x by Limor Fried, Adafruit Industries - http://www.adafruit.com" this is also in the manuals as well.

we've asked to make the http://www.adafruit.com text an actual link, but this was all a step in the right direction.

cheers,
adafruit, phil
