After some hours spent with scope and multimeter I realized that the cause of my lack of connection between USBtinyISP and STK300 is the pin 3 of JP2 left free on USBtiny, but necessary on STK300 side. After I forced it to GND (very easy on the back of the USBtiny board, between pin 3 and 4), programming of STK300 went normal with all ISP programmers that can see USBtinyISP. The problem is that it will remain grounded. It could be nice to have it flip low only when programming is done.
