Need Help with setting up USB Tiny ISP

Hi,

I ordered the USB Tiny ISP kit from you guys, i soldered
> everything by following the tutorial in your website. When i connect it to

Can you post a photo of the front and back? perhaps its a simply soldering issues we can determine

hmmm, can you go back and touch up the solder joints for the resistors and diodes around the USB connector?

I don't see either a resistor or jumper in place for R4 and R7 (resistors for SpokePOV, jumpers otherwise).

I am using windows XP sp3 and when i plug in the the usb it says this message: One of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.

OK that is a different message than you said before!

we could try replacing the chip - email support@adafruit and request a new USBtinyISP chip

that is when i try to install the driver. In windows when the hardware is marked as unknown device it is because the driver is missing. I go to the device manager and right click on "unknown Device" and click properties, then i click update drivers and direct to the folder that i downloaded from ladyada. That is when i get this error not contain information about your hardware.( when browsing and selecting the .INF file)"

I have a question: does USBTinyISP turn on if it is not connected to the target program chip. I am trying to program an Atmega 32 with this.

disconnect from the target when plugging it into the computer
