Looks like a change was made to the PCB V1.1 with the addition of an R10 Resistor. With the kit I received a Brown Black Orange Resistor. Is this R10? I didn't see this in the tutorial.

I have just received the Monochron Clock kit. It is working fine. I did however end up with extra parts

Yes. According to the latest schematics, Lady Ada added a 10K (brown black orange) pullup on the reset line just recently.

Just a quick question. I just noticed that Adafruit replied to my post back in 2012.
