private messages won't send

I am trying to send private messages, but after clicking submit the message never leaves my outbox. Very annoying...what's going on?

are you trying to send a private message to member or an admin?

I'm trying to send a message to a member. I can see my message in Outbox, but it never transitions to Sent. I tried clicking edit and then submitting it again, but it still sits in Outbox indefinitely.

Did you do something? My messages randomly moved to Sent. If this is some kind of built-in delay in the forums, it would be really nice to turn that off.

I don't think it moves to sent until it gets read.
