Just assembled the adafruit Ethernet pcb as described on ladyada.net. It does work and obtain an ip address, but the 3.3 volt regulator is way too hot to touch within seconds of applying power from USB or adapter. Have rechecked all solders and they appear correct. I would assume if there was a short the shield would not work, but the test arduino dhcp sketch runs fine. Any ideas? All components are as described on ladyada.net.
