My arduino board is not powering up using the supplied power adapter or by using a 9V battery. I have followed the instructions very carefully and to be honest all it says is that as long as you're using the right power supply you simply plug it in and it should get the green power light.
I have tested the power from both sources with a multimeter and they are fine. The board on the other hand has no problem powering up with a usb attached.
What am I doing wrong or do I have a faulty board?
