Helicopter POV

Postby TobyTetzi » Sun May 25, 2008 3:45 pm

Hello,

I am Toby from Germany, and my hobby are RC-Helicoter.

I ve build a Heli POV with up to 64 LEDs.

This is my Heli, 1350mm rotor diameter with 48 LEDs on each side:

And this is my smaler heli with 1050mm rotor diameter and 32 LEDs each side:

Now I ll work on a RGB version.
But it is not so easy, because there are many bits and data to transfere.

Regards Toby

Hello,

yes, I used the same technique as spokepov.
I only use other LED driver, a ATmega168, and a bigger EEProm.

In the RGB Version I ll go other ways, because the AVR is to slow.
