use of fractal antenna to reduce form factor size

Postby dino snider » Fri Sep 26, 2008 11:27 am

D: the new Neonode cellphones use an antenna by Fractus.
Fractus uses fractal antenna technology.

The size they speak of look to be roughly compatible with a WaveBubble.

40.8 x 10.74 x 7.45 mm
D: hmm, 4 x 10 x 8cm, circa.

Holds 18 100's Sized Cigarettes Dimensions: 3.24inch x 4.36inch x 0.62inch

D: a nice cover of not-metal might be nice.

The dimensions are roughly compatible.

I am mostly interested in cellphone frequencies.

Also, a directional antenna could eke out more range from the anemic internal antenna configuration.
Thoughts?
