Hello!
I badly know English language and to translate using google :-)
I am very glad that you liked my x0x's and a girl.
I would make new and unusual x0xb0x photograph them with different girls. :-)
Thank you!

no custom case and no hot girls, but I am pretty stoked about my x0x...apparently it is an official kit that was in the back of someone's closet, no tag though...I was told it was in the 300's...regardless, it's awesome...

Time for another beauty !

After a long time now, it's finished and it sounds like a fat pig :)

I had some mysterious ground problems with my denon avr-1801 amplifier and maybe some cables touching resistors/critical parts giving some buzzing sound but now it sounds like everything is ok now.

Jeff from customsynth has done some modifications to the overlays for me to fit my needs. Thanks for it. After i'd drilled the hole for the power switch i figured out that a pair of little capacitors are in its way...so damn, had to move it a little to the right.

blue x0x-overview:

- all expensive blue diffused kingbright led's from mouser
- beige pactec case; sanded down for the paint
- car automotive silver painting (VW)
- special custom overlays from customsynth
- adjustable resonance boost and resonance accent mod
- special power on/off switch with blue led !
- expensive aluminium knobs from kilo international
- rare parts kit from gaetano with high beta transistors in q10,9,8 (hfe ~320)
- grey switchcaps

After all i think there is no need for the mods. My x0x sounds good as it is with the rare parts kit so the next x0x (call it "the green one") will see no mods except the power on/off switch and because all leds will be green the switch will also have a green led :)

Nicely done, katarakt. Really like how the paint job came out.

You wouldn't happen to have a couple spares of that overlay lying around, would you?

hi folks,

it's done !
after many hours of work my x0xb0x in black aluminum is alive and here are some pics (unfortunately a bit unsharp :? .. my cam sucks)
the dimensions are 240mm x 200mm x 42mm.
the big caps were extended with a bit wire to arrange the whole thing in such a thin case.

the first version with welded screw mounts were not useful, so I made another frontpanel für use with the known screws. a friend of mine made the silk screening for the frontpanel an the I/O panel and I think it's really nice.

now my Miami has finally an acidic companion :-)

I build only three of them... two for me and one for sale. (already sold)

That's by far the most professional-looking x0x I've seen yet. Good work.
