Looking for 64kB EEPROM

Postby justamar » Wed May 13, 2009 12:34 am

Anyone have one with the bootloader on it? is there a way i can load it onto a 32KB one? Would i be able to use the USBTINYISP to do so? and if not, anyone want to sell me one? i need one to finish my project!

If i send you one in the post, along with a "donation" can you send it back all programmed and ready to go? is it possible to program these chips with a USBTinyISP?

im really swamped right now to take requests :)
but you can just build a propeller programmer with a serial port jack and some basic components.

Well, if you have a software-controlled project where the software has to tell everything what to do before anything happens, and you don't have any software on it, it's probably not going to do anything. ;)

You know its kinda looking like it would have been cheaper to get a kit. ugh.

Would you recommend just buying a FCDI cable? it would be cheaper...

FTDI cable will def. be able to program the YBOX2 and any propeller chip. I use mine all the time :)
its not cheaper than building your own serial port programmer but if you dont have those parts kicking around it may be. its certainly faster
