#13 Face lift: Wood sides :)

Postby Altitude » Thu May 25, 2006 3:31 pm

Well, this is how the wood side project came out. Needless to say, my guy did a bang up job. Note that the sides are not painted, those are wood inlays. If anyone is interested in getting some made, I'll be happy to send you all the info.

all the rounded parts were removed by bandsaw :) the wood sides were then routered out to give them a nice tight fit.

Its not really a 666 mod per say (Colin frasers mods). I used small trimpots but they are delicate so i am reworking the whole thing. Nice cape btw

looks really great. love the stain color you used for the wood and the 303 detail work.

can you still get inside of the box to work on it? wondering how that works... does the wood come off?

Yeah, you can. The orginal mounting holes were left intact (on purpose) so the bottom can be remove normally
