Wave Bubble?

Postby Snow_Fox » Sat Feb 20, 2010 1:16 am

I am very interested in the Wave bubble. If the claim of 4 hour battery life is true then it is very impressive.

I was wondering how hard it would be to remanufacture a phone to work as a scrambler. I currently have an old Samsung Go phone I used. It gives me a battery and I would hope (some) of the basic tech I need. I unfortunately can't afford a 100$ soldering set up as suggested just to make a cheap cell jammer.

I am not intending to make this for any other reason then experimentation. My level is skill is no where near what is suggested and I have no misguidance about that.. However, I am still curious as to if there are any simplified/inexpensive solutions especially regarding the soldering part of it.

The wave bubble is not a simple project to build. Conceptually- it's pretty straightforward. Soldering and assembly is a lot more complex.

Your existing cell phone won't be of much use aside from it's battery and, if it's huge, as a case. Even if the tech itself was in the phone (it isn't) you would need to be able to work with incredibly small components. If you aren't comfortable with soldering and assembly of the Wave Bubble- then reworking cell phone components would be impossible.

Sorry, newbie to this forum.
Where are the schematics for the Wave Bubble ? And printed circuit boards ?
I can't find it in "Make" section...

Can you help ?
