I'm committed to the *full* x0xi0 as well - it's the only x0x configuration I have at the moment. So +1 for me on a new board that will fit it....

Plug in play yes.
It should be available late July. Cost around $50 built . Blank boards will be available as well.

Hi there.. nice progress.. but from the dimensions.. does this exceed the dimensions of the xox board? it looks a bit like it.. because if it does it dont fits in certain custom exclosures..

- The board does not exceed the mainboard. So it will fit any box that already houses the stock mainboard.
I think I might be able to do a board that fits both.

I need the measurements for the area around the socket on the x0xi0. BC hasn't returned my email.
I could guess from looking but then there is a chance that it wont fit...

Measure from the bottom ( notch top ) of the uC up to C58 over to C52.

Thanks! :D

i could measure it for you but i dont have a clue what exactly i have to measure.. C58 & C52 are not anyway near the IC socket.
forgive my stupidness maybe.

the bottom pins of the ic are about 22.3 mm away from the bottom of the pcb.
the side pins of the ic are about 2.7 mm away from the side of the pcb.

approximately, i can't tell exactly because i already have a socket soldered in

Now looking at it again I see that the uC is the other way around to the stock. So I have to make a dedicated board for the x0xi0.
I can go a fair way to the side so I 'll just do it that way.
Thanks for the measurements anyway! :D

why wouldnt the "dedicated board" for x0xI0 not be compatible with the normal pcb?

The board for the stock x0x is FINISHED! :D

I just need to finish the x0xi0 now .

The stock wont work on the x0xi0 *custom mainboard* as the uC is position the other way so the board would not fit in the enclosure and vice versa. But its nearly finished anyway.

Yo BC! I was just after measurements but its ok as there is plenty of room to the side of the x0xi0 custom board.
