Pin 3 of J7 is the "mix in" pin into the mixer on the mainboard connected to the socket on the I/O board, just disconnect it from the jumper on the mainboard are route it to the VCF

i dont need to cut any trace somewhere?
just cut the jumper wire (pin 3) from the main board socket (not the i/o board) and take the wire that left connected on the i/o pin3 J7 and then connect it to the VCF?
where in the VCF?

thanks man :)

youre going to need a capacitor and a resistor
solder a wire from ioboard j7 pin3 to a 47k resistor
you may want to experiment with resistor values
and the the other end of the resistor should go to a 10uF capacitor
this will be an electrolytic capacitor
so be sure that the resistor connects to the negative end of the capacitor
then solder the positive end of the capacitor
to the r70 and c17 juncture
whichever is easiest to get to is fine

guest,

r70 and c17 juncture is Q12 right leg or r62?
J7 pin3 still need to be connected to the main board or not?

its on the q12 side of c17
and j7 pin3 should no longer connect to the mainboard

although looking at the schematic more closely
you could just cut the trace between r156 and q34
and run a line from there to the vcf
and you wouldnt have to buy new parts if you didnt want to
although the values are a little off from what i would use
if you dont want to cut the trace
you could just lift the one leg of the resistor
and run the wire from that leg

i already buy the parts :? never mind its not that expensive.
ok, lift resistor r156 connect it to right leg Q12, like this?

i did it with a switch and it was not working :?
like this..
lift one side of r156, connect a wire from the pin resistor to the center of the switch.
in the empty hole of r156 i put a wire that goes to the left side of the switch.
from Q12 the right pin (the one that touches C17) i solder a wire and from there connect to the right side of the switch.
only when the switch is on the r156 (left side) its working.
when its from the right side (q12) not working.

did i did something wrong?

measure the resistance
between the center switch pin
and the q12 side switch pin
and make sure the switch is connecting them

are you playing notes when you listen for sound
what signal level are you putting in

measure the resistance
between the center switch pin
and the q12 side switch pin
and make sure the switch is connecting them

when the switch is on the empty hole position (r156)its shows 121K
when its on the Q12 position its shows 00.4ohm

are you playing notes when you listen for sound

no.
what signal level are you putting in

i dont know, i plunged my x0x, mix out to mix in.
