Calibrating

Postby brother-james » Mon Feb 21, 2011 7:46 pm

Hi all,
I'm x0xb0x owner but I didn't build myself.
I want to know, there's a way, a step by step, or tutorial to calibrate it?
I mean it seems work good, but I notice a few things (like volume too high) that I want to solve.

Hope someone could help me.

best

well, there are instructions for calibrating the sections (VCO, VCF, IOBoard..)
but the volume?! there's a knob for it you know..

Yeah I understand, but it's really strange that if I put the volume to maximun it goes over 0db, I mean he goes red on ableton, and I don't use any gain before to go in.

I saw some trim inside, I want to know if I can use that to tune, to low the main volume etc... and how?

Tnx :)

nah, there is no trimpot for adjusting the output volume
but you can put one i guess
the volume being too loud is probably due to the BA6110 i think
