Hi, I've been messing around with the motor shield from arduino. It drives the motor at the Vin level, before the LDO. I've been careful not to drive Vin above 5V becaused I didn't know what the max voltage the hobby motor can take. Does anyone know what the motor is rated for?

its a 6-9V rated DC motor!
