Beautiful ice tube clock

This weekend I finished to build my ice tube clock, and I am delighted with the result. My kit sat 2 months in its shipping box so I had plenty of time to read the forums and get ready to encounter some issues. However I followed the tutorial very closely and everything works perfectly. Yes, the last digit is slightly dimmer, but it does not bother me since it is the ticking seconds.

Showing the finished clock to my wife, I was expecting something like "this is the most geeky thing you ever built", but I was surprised that she found it really pretty and wanted to put on a bookshelf in the living room. I think this is a wonderful compliment to this Adadruit design.

I am so happy with this kit that I already ordered a spare tube if something bad ever happened.

There is a mod to brighten the last digit if you are interested. It's a bit of a hack but it does the trick.
