Circuit Playground Express/Flora Bluefruit LE missing pins

Hi - I've soldered wires following the instructions here: https://learn.adafruit.com/circuit-playground-and-bluetooth-low-energy/wiring - and I've been able to upload the CircuitPlayground_nrf51822 sketch. From the iOS Bluefruit app I can connect to the "Adafruit Bluefruit LE" device. Howe...

I wanted to know how fast I could toggle an output pin

on the nRF52840, using Circuitpython, so I wrote some code to try it out. First I used pure Python code, and got 19.8 kHz . Well, that's underwhelming, but it's an interpreter, so we can't expect too much. Micropython supports several decorators, that activate code emitters, so I started with @ micr...

Re: Can you create an accumulator?

I can do that but I was hoping there was something in IO that would not require me to have an RTC or query the net for the time. Thanks for your help and let's hope this will be a feature in the future. (NPI) IO does have a few built-in time feeds. You can subscribe to a feed which reports seconds,...

I want to hookup 10 ina219 High Side Current Sensors: https://www.adafruit.com/product/1083 for a project, but only 4 addresses are available. Re: Qi Transmitter status indicator?

The transmitter we carry can't. The Qi protocol includes a way of transmitting data with the power, so the transmitter and receiver can talk to each other. Getting another device to talk to the Qi transmitter is a separate problem, and the transmitter we carry is a simple plug-and-go unit. We aren't...

Reliability problem with Waterproof DS18B20 with temperature

Hello Experts, Could you please give me your opinion to this ? I'm experiencing some reliability problem with 1-wire probes Waterproof DS18B20. When reaching around 40 celcius degrees, the 1-wire bus is reporting CRC errors and the probes are no longer visible under /sys/bus/w1/devices. When the tem...

Re: Map Block using HTTP API

Hi granberget, With that API endpoint, you'll have to send the location values as a separate parameter in the request. If you're using URL encoded params for example, that would look like: http://io.adafruit.com/api/groups/$group/send.json?x-aio-key=$aioKey&$feed=10&location%5Blat%5D=50.1234...

Thanks Mike.

I've been trying to get this working for days. Wouldn't you know it, just a few hours after posting my query I got it working. Now i just need to figure out how to make it look pretty :)

Still lots of learning to be done.

Thanks for your reply

Re: Ultimate GPS Query

Hey I was doing a test sample of Ultimate GPS. But the problem was that my GPS module is not returning the latitude longitude values. In stead I'm getting zeros. If any one can say what's the matter with my code example. #include <Adafruit_GPS.h> //Install the adafruit GPS library #include <Software...

Resistive touch (2.8") controller

I bought the WICED feather along with the 2.8" TFT with the resistive touch overlay. I also bought a resistive touch screen controller, which seemed to be required to reduce I/O pin usage. I find no way to connect the touch screen controller to the TFT screen. Are the functions of the little to...

Re: Query regarding the MCP73831,

The LiPos themselves are only rated to operate between 0C and 40C. As a rule of thumb, dropping the temperature 20C slows chemical reactions down by half, which means you get about half as much energy out of most batteries. If you’re working in a cold environment, it can be energy efficent to run a ...

Re: Query regarding the MCP73831,

Hmm yeah, that was the conclusion I came to as well. The enclosure is actually a remote Weather Station. It's a shame there is no way to access the PROG pin of the MCP73831 and control the charging circuit via the MCU, Access to the STAT pin would be nice, so you can tell if it's actually charging t...
