Re: Circuitpython and Raspberry Pi

we could not make it larger, the HAT format is a fixed size https://github.com/raspberrypi/hats/blob/master/hat-board-mechanical.pdf I understand that. Was there not even room for a couple pin headers for I2C and SPI? Anyway, this is going way off topic from my original query. I understand now that...

Re: Can we interrogate Adafruit.io for the latest data?

You sure can! If you're using the Adafruit IO HTTP API, you can use the Get Feed Data endpoint to query a feed for information such as latest value, or when it was created: https://io.adafruit.com/api/docs/#get-feed-data If you're using the Adafruit IO MQTT API it gets trickier. You'll need to use t...

Re: Retrieve dynamic values from the feed instead of 'last_v

The sample code from the tutorial will display the current value, since it makes a call to Create Data (https://io.adafruit.com/api/docs/#create-data). You would need to query the Get Previous Data (https://io.adafruit.com/api/docs/#get-previous-data) API endpoint or a query to the Adafruit IO API w...

Use of Feather boards in Commercial Product

Dear Sir, I have a query regarding using the modules like ESP8266 feather and ESP32 or BLENRF52 in a commercial product. 1. Can we go ahead with using the modules from Adafruit. If yes, what do we need to follow to give adafruit credit for the board. 2. To go ahead, we have to undergo electrical saf...

BMP388 Behavior with IIR Filter

Wondering if anyone experienced the same problem with the BMP388 breakout and Adafruit Library. It appears that using the default setup (like in the example code below), the BMP388 is not actually applying the IIR filter internally (at some default rate), but instead will put each query of the senso...

Re: hand query the GPS

Yep. See if using that example will get you where you want. If not, post back here and we'll see what we can do.

Re: hand query the GPS

the one called "parsing" in arduino ide the complete code for that one is // Test code for Adafruit GPS modules using MTK3329/MTK3339 driver // // This code shows how to listen to the GPS module in an interrupt // which allows the program to have more 'freedom' - just parse // when a new N...

Re: hand query the GPS

In general, you just call read(). See here: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_GPS/blob/master/examples/GPS_HardwareSerial_Parsing/GPS_HardwareSerial_Parsing.ino#L66 followed by a call to parsing: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_GPS/blob/master/examples/GPS_HardwareSerial_Parsing/GPS_Hardware...

io.connect() clashes with WiFi client

Hi... I have a project using a Feather M0 with ATWINC1500. I have successfully used this platform sending data to Adafruit IO feeds and displaying dashboards. On the same platform, I currently have a project where I query several internet data sources, and I want to pass my derived data to an AIO fe...
