Re: ItsyBitsy M4 - SERCOM5 as UART

Finally got some time to try your suggestion to use SERCOM5.0 as TXD. Just a query regarding your reference to pin 13 (Arduino D13) - D13 is SERCOM 5.1, D12 is SERCOM 5.0 so using that as TXD. So on that logic, I tried: Uart Serial2(&sercom5, 13, 12, SERCOM_RX_PAD_1, UART_TX_PAD_0); // D13 => 5....

Very beginning help connecting Bluefruit LE shield

I am following the tutorial (https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-bluefruit-le-shield) to connect my bluefruit LE shield and arduino uno to my pc and phone. I reached the ATCommand step, have loaded the example sketch onto the arduino, connected with the shield on my phone, and when I open the consol...

Re: Only 1000 data points?

Hi adam, Thanks a lot! This confirms that I can only get 1000 points each time. However, the API doesn't return X-Pagination-Total value. I guess the workaround is to set the limit to 1000, and if the return has 1000 data points, then run the query again. When the return is less than 1000 data point...

Re: Only 1000 data points?

hi kevin, The API only returns a maximum of 1000 data points at a time, you'll have to "paginate" the data to get the whole feed. When you do a data query, the results are always sorted newest-to-oldest and include x-pagination-* headers. For example, X-Pagination-Limit: 1000 X-Pagination-...

Re: Adafruit Mini Color TFT with Joystick FeatherWing and pa

They have ported a library for this device, and that's the library I'm using. It is confirmed to work with this board, which is why I'm here with this query. I expect that I should be able to see the Seesaw chip on I2c, but cannot. I believe that the board is faulty, but want to get some assistance ...

Re: Adafruit_ZeroI2S and interrupts

Okay, so if I'm understanding you correctly, it isn't necessarily a given that the callback is fired when the DMA channel finishes transferring data, and I should be checking for something to make sure the callback is being called for the condition I care about. I guess I'll need to poke around in t...

Re: Adafruit_ZeroI2S and interrupts

How do interrupts work with the library? Only as a sort of side effect. DMA means data is passed from one peripheral to the other without ever touching the microcontroller. In the SAMD21, DMA requests are triggered by 'events', which are similar to interrupts but again, can be completely independen...

Re: TFT w Joystick and SD v2 - Confusion!

It's kind of a pre-sales query - I currently have a v1 tft shield as part of my prototype Arduino mega based classroom robot. The TFT shield SPI pins are 'hotwired' to the Mega SPI pins via a right-angle header on the shield and a connector on my main board. It's a bit of a hack but it works well. I...

Re: Can't seem to send commands to my Ultimate GPS Feather

That seems likely. That can also happen with the OLED, and we have a notice about that: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-oled-featherwing/troubleshooting#faq-1 The delay is a simple solution. If that works cool. If you want to get fancier, maybe you could add a query loop. A loop where you try a...

AdafruitHTTPServer handling POST requests!!!

Hello, I'm using <adafruit_http_server.h> and follwing the example to create an HTTP server. I'm stuck in how to handle POST request. Re: Bluefruit52 Central Custom HRM Example

Yep I got it to work!!! I deleted in BLEcentral.cpp (development version) Line 181 to 189 and line 203 ( cut out the // Accept request parameter if it is within our supported range, otherwise reject) Then it works without a problem. Actually I see no reason for this query because it fetches the requ...

Re: Need 10-channel DAQ with 200 S/s

You won't be able to get that kind of throughput from a RasPi using stacked Hats. Linux is a time-slicing operating system. It gives each process about 10ms of CPU time, then suspends it and gives the next process a turn. The suspended process has no idea when the breaks in its execution occur, and ...

Re: ADS1x15 function reference needed

It looks like the auto documentation for that may be behind or not updating for some reason. We'll investigate. But that's where it should be. Setting gain is pretty simple, just do this: ads.gain = 8 the acceptable values are: 2/3, 1, 2, 4, 8, or 16. You can also query the current gain setting usin...
