Re: Powering feather HUZZAH directly from 3.3V

... since the max voltage for Vbus is 5.8 volts. It seems to me that the answer to DeathTickle's question would also answer mine, so I thought I would piggyback.

Re: Motor Shield Current ??

"The 600mA max is with the included L293D H-bridge chips. You can increase this to 1A by swapping in a pair of SN754410's. You can also piggyback 2 or more chips to increase current capability. 2A seems to be about the practical limit for this shield." I have a stepper motor that requires ...

Re: RTC on Feather M0 Adalogger?

... will consume a couple of hundred nano ampere. Then the RTC seems to be reset when the device gets a POR! Huh? Unacceptable for any RTC. So an RTC piggyback board, including a Lithium battery, for the feather would be nice, but then with an RTC which can be calibrated, like the MCP79410 or PCF85263A. ...

Re: Daft Punk School Project

From my understanding I can purchase 2 of these with the backpack and 2 without and the 2 without can piggyback from the one with the backpack? That might be possible, but I've never seen it done before, can you point me to an example? I'd expect that the wiring would be ...

Re: Piggybacking Adafruit Motorshield V2

That would be really difficult with the v2 board. The v1 Motor Shield used though-hole L293D H-bridges, and it's easy to piggyback through-hole chips: just set one over the other so the pins line up, tack the pins with solder, and you're good to go. The v2 Motor Shield uses surface-mount ...

Driving four 24V DC motors

... 24V, 70mA no load, 460mA max efficient (11W), 2.5A stall I'm currently using the V1 shield at 12V. If I continue using the v1 shield, should I piggyback an extra ship on the two L293D before going to 24V? PS: I have ordered an Arduino Mega 2560 just in case...

Re: PiPhone build

A 3G SIM will not work. It must be a 2G SIM.

The local telecoms piggyback on the large carrier networks, so maybe you can get a SIM from one of them.

Re: HTTP_POST? in background with Fona?

What those do is to piggyback on the 1ms system timer with a separate interrupt. The examples read the serial ports in this timer interrupt. Be aware that you're limited ...
