W1371 Sharp display screen placement inconsistancies
We like using the screen in our product. However there are inconsistencies in the placement of the screen on the board. Attached are photos of three of them. Each one different. Only one is correct of the 10 we have. Based on the data sheet. Would it be possible to get the screens unattached? Scratch the attachments, it will not allow me to add the attachments!

we can't sell them without attaching the screen - in particular this display is extremely delicate, we can't ship 'loose'
you *could* try very very very carefully prying off the screen with a paint scraper type device

Thanks for replying. Would it be possible to run a band of the painters tape around the board and screen so that they stay secure during shipping? We've been removing the screens using a razr blade, since it is about the only tool thin enough to get between the screen and board. We try to keep our cost down by buying off the shelf devices and we are using these on prototype boxes for now. However, when we get an order for a couple of hundred units, the amount of time removing the screens will be costly. If you wish, give me a call.
