How to be successful getting tech help?

by susanh1 on Thu Apr 14, 2016 5:03 pm

Dear Tech Folks,
Can you please give me some hints on how to be more successful in getting tech help through the forums? I posted yesterday about difficulties in getting a 3V Pro Trinket to load programs, link is below:

viewtopic.php?f=52&t=94318&p=473959#p473959

I got one response back from tech to check if I was using the reset button to upload correctly, but nothing since then. I added some additional information, hoping to make the problem clear. However, I just read a post that says when you add on to your own post that somehow that drops you out of the line to get your questions answered. If you can clarify how this system of tech support works, then perhaps it won't feel as frustrating.

Thanks,
Susan

At the top level of the forums there is a place to "read unanswered posts" If you post to your previously unanswered post it falls off that list so the techs don't see it and will only know there is a post when they go to that topic and see the red indicator.
