Programming MiniPOV2 with ISP adaptor

Post by kylek »

I assembled a MiniPOV2 yesterday with a friend, and then we realized we don't have too too many parallel ports these days.

Can I use either a USBtinyISP or a arduino running MEGA-ISP to program it while running the ATTiny2313V off of batteries or do I need to modify the minipov2 slightly to connect VCC to one of the pins on the DB25 connector?

I'm planning on buying a DB25 dongle end and wire up and glue a 10pin IDC header to the other end of it.
