Hi again.
After building a programmer via LPT1: I successfully flashed my tiny2313's via "make burn-fuse" and "make program-minipov/-mypov".
I tested this with two tiny2313-µC and in both cases I didn't get any error-message. So I think both were flashed successfully. But when I connected them to the miniPOV3 only *one* of them starts working (flashing LEDs) -- the other one doesn't react at all. So, what's wrong now? Is that tiny2313 broken or is there anything else to do?
Any hints? Thank you!

did you try them both in the same minipov3?
did you try flashing the one that's not working a second time?

yes -- same device.mtbf0 wrote:did you try them both in the same minipov3?
yes, i even tried it again with a STK500. The tiny was flashed correctly but then no reaction. Is it possible that *just* pin 12-19 is somehow defect? Seems strange to me...mtbf0 wrote:did you try flashing the one that's not working a second time?

Read the devices and check if the data and the fuses are the same. This and writing is all you can do to control the devices.
If the data of the two devices matches, but only one device works, then the other device might be broken, or having unknown defects. Then better use the one that works and discard the other. It's beyond your control.
