Hello
I have built the MiniPOV4 kit and it tests out great.
Running Snow Leopard on MacBook Pro 17in Early 2008.
Have downloaded Processing 2.0.3 and control5 using the links in tutorial
Installed both per installation instructions.
Installed avrdude using macports
Avrdude understand Ladyada's usbtiny programmer.
The converter program runs fine.
Open any of the 3 test images okay
Save as bin file is fine
Open bin file is fine
Download image to minipov starts fine runs awhile then ends with an error message stating that there is a mismatch at address 0x00 . Disconnect minipov4 and power cycle. Goes through test pattern then to solid aqua blue color leds.
I will post the exact error message later on.

First electronic kit was a pair of heathkit walkie-talkies.
Any hints?

Re: Upload mismatch error
Can you try a different USB cable and different USB port?
Sounds like it's failing at the verification step? Check your connections to the MiniPOV. The MISO line may be bad.

Hello
The IC chip was not firmly seated in the socket. It is now firmly seated
And I will retest it later today. I am confident that it will work now.
