Replace BA6110 with BA662a

OK, so I understand that as many people will insist that the 662 makes no difference than will recommend it, but my question is....

Has anyone initially built their box with a BA6110 and not been impressed with the sound, and swapped to a 622a which made a significant difference?

I suppose what I mean is, if a x0xb0x doesn't sound 'authentically' 303-ish with a 6110, will it ever achieve the sound with a 622a?

I replaced the ba6110 by a 662, i noticed no difference. I think it isn't perceptible by the human ear. :|

I built my first one with a 6610. Seemed fine, but I managed to get a 662 anyway, so I was curious to try it. Didn't really notice a difference, although it 'may' have smoothed the VCA out a bit, but it's really hard to be sure, and it's probably quite random anyway.
Put it this way, I got 2 X 662's, and i've not even bothered to fit the other 662 to my other x0xb0x yet.
I guess it's kinda nice to have at least 1 part in there though that is an original 'Roland' part?! But thats about the only advantage, if you can all it that.
