It only took me ~10 years to find the time to put my x0xen together. I got 2 complete kits in 2008 and have one working and the other just needs LEDs. The first one I used the flat top LEDs and they're great. I got regular round top LEDs with the other kit and they aren't very nice. Does anyone know the manufacturer / part number of the flat top LEDs that were included in the kits so long ago? They're 5mm diameter and about 9.5mm tall with a clear body, but a disc of diffuse material at the top. I got 1K resistors to use with them. They also came with shorter standoffs, but I can probably figure those out.
Flat top diffuse LEDs part number?

Re: Flat top diffuse LEDs part number?
it's very easy/cheap to get diffuse flat top white leds on ebay
though i prefer red diffuse myself, flat top's are a pain when you take of the front panel.
