'Next' LED latches, 'Prev' doesn't light up

Post by drewtstew »

I have a weird problem; everything seems to be working properly, it's calibrated and sounds great, the LEDs all light up when powering on the unit, the buttons for Next and Prev function properly when sequencing, however when I press Next, it lights up and stays lit up (I have a feeling it should only be lit momentarily?), and when I press Prev, Next stays lit up and the Prev LED does nothing. I actually can't get the Prev LED to light up on any of the settings, but it does light up when the x0xb0x is initially turned on.

I have checked every capacitor and diode/LED for polarity issues, went over every solder joint, checked for shorts with a magnifying glass, recleaned the board, nothing seems to work. My next step is to replace the LED, but I'm not sure that'll do the trick (edit: it didn't). I imagine something is going on with IC4, but I'm not sure what. Anyone have any suggestions as to the cause?

NVM, I did some looking on the forum and this is a firmware issue.
