This is how the final parts will look with with two exceptions.
1) rear panel silkscreen is not completed yet
2) front and rear panel are fully anodized on final parts (edges are bare on this one)

This case only fits the custom x0xb0x PCB kit, as I changed the aspect ratio a lot by taking a lot of space off the top & bottom.
If you are building a kit with custom PCB's and want one just get in touch as I will be doing a small run in the near future.
[on a side note, the custom PCB kit only works with x0xi0 kits, and not stock x0xb0x, as some stock components are omitted from the layout]

Been wanting to post this for a while and didn't get around to snapping that last pic. Here's my self-sourced. This was my first serious electronics project since high school. It really opened my eyes again to how fun electronics were. It never hurts to have more 303s around either. Loads of fun and WHAT. A. PROJECT. Thanks again Ladyada and everyone here for the massive pool of knowledge.

Incidentally I was recently running an EML 101 and 400/401 with my x0x via CV/Gate. That was a trip.

^^^ Onto x0xio ^^^

Nice job! How did you kind fitting the korg knobs, did you need to mod them at all, I guess the rotary switch ones needed some persuasion to fit?
She may not look like much but she’s got it where it counts, kid. I’ve made a lot of special modifications myself.

Thanks! Actually the knobs didn't need any modification. I had to shave down the pots and the encoders properly though. That took a bit patient dremel work but once it was done the knobs slid on very easily. Using the flat LEDs on this was consistently tough though. I had to adjust them time after time to get them all to behave.

I just realized that my x0x #2 has been finished for about two years now without me posting a picture...
so here we go:

Schaeffer Frontpanel,
Mods include PWM for the Square Wave,
Resonance Boost, Bass Boost and "Eternal Bliss" on pushbutton switches (with LED indicator),
Envelope retrigger,
Filter Overdrive with "Color" knob (on pushbutton as well)
Accent Decay,
Cutoff and Envelope range enlargement,
Filter Modulation with selectable source (saw, square, VCA) and two modes (buffered + unbuffered)
Accent Sweep Speed selecable between slow, normal and fast
VCO Out + Filter In on TRS jack
orange (amber) 3mm LEDs
Sokkos 1.9

... i think this sums it up pretty well.
The b0x sounds very nice and I have been cranking out acidic noises ever since. W00t!
