Hi all, I've just finished building my xoxbox! Everything works fine but I noticed a white noise each time a note is played, the noise is not filtered when sweeping the cutoff pot so I gues the problem is in the gate circuit or in the vca...
here some audio examples: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/28419373/white ... xoxbox.mp3
Does anybody know how can eliminate or at least reduce, this noise?
Thank you indeed!

Re: VCA White noise
i don't hear it, so it's around the normal levels
analog synths always have some noise, that's how it is
i think you shouldn't worry about this
maybe there are ways to try and reduce it, but is it worth it?

I just hear a normal amount of analog breath. if you are hearing a sh sound like white noise check your speakers.

Re: VCA White noise
It's a detail that i myself opened a topic on a french-speaking forum. We particularly hear this white noise when the cutoff is low, in fact it's quite normal. Except that some x0xb0x do it more than others. As for the TB303, some have more white noise than others. It can not be reduced, except by lowering the volume.
