to figure out whether it misses a clock tick, or it's just a latency, you can perform this very simple test:
put some repeated CHH or similar sound in your DAW
- start recording, let it run at a fast-ish tempo like 140 or whatever
- reduce the tempo down dramatically, like 30-ish
- stop recording
now load the thing into a sound recorder, measure the delay when the tempo was fast, measure when it was slow, compare
if the delay doesn't change - it's just latency
if it changes, then there is latency PLUS missing clock ticks
SokkOS 2.0, beta

Re: SokkOS 2.0, beta
Amazing! I just bought my x0xb0x and was disappointed that there weren't a lot of patterns pre-loaded. Until I get the hang of programming, it would be nice to have some to play around with. Hoping there might be a user area for uploading and downloading user patterns with the new OS. Thanks!

You might try MarOs15, which has some functions to generate new patterns.
Latest version: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=33914&start=315#p593735
I'm still working on the manual, until than you might use what Mario has written ( ... see here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=33914 ).
MarOs15 works similar to Sokkos. It has (nearly?) all features of Sokkos 2 included. Except for the Track mode, which is missing completely.
FAQ #1 Answer: Storing a pattern works different than in Sokkos: hold "DONE" key down, than press the 1...8 (white) key where your pattern should be stored.
