well, as far as i can see, it's:
external audio input into the VCF
Cutoff range all the way to zero

these are already known i think

That looks more like some type of VCF FM option, not audio in.

The cutoff range is R47, he has a switch which goes from 0 to normal (10K). I put a 10K trimmer in all my boxes so you can dial that in any way you want.. The second one (whatever he is messing with below the bassline logo) does sound like filter FM but nothing that is obvious to me. The last one is external input and gate, it actually works better on the x0x since you dont need a gate signal, you can just use midi in in midi play mode or midi out to your sound module..

I don't think that's external input, i think he's CV/Gating it with the 101.

His site is all in French, so i can't read it =o]

Google translate is your friend :)

It is filter FM (with level) which he is tweaking and the external input as I suspected. When you run an external sound source through the ENV and VCF, it is pretty hard not to sound like a 303 but I have had some very cool results with metallic and bell sounds from my TX (I assume you saw my video) I did the FM mod for a customer recently and the results were meh. Maybe he tweaked on the mod some but from my experience, the VCO is too fast as a mod source so there is a tiny little sweet spot that sounds good, and the rest is crapfest. A dedicated LFO source (external) would be better IMHO
