XOXIO Midi Spec

by gwpt on Thu Mar 15, 2012 8:30 pm

Hi,
I have searched around but have not been able to find a definitive answer to the following...

What aspects of the XOXIO are controllable via MIDI. Im asuming Note On/Off, but how many CCs? Cutoff? Res?
Is there a MIDI spec doc?
Also, are any on the extra features of the XOXIO Midi controllable?
Thanks :)

the 6 "performance" knobs (tuning cutoff reso envmod decay and accent) are all potentiometers
the x0xb0x CPU has nothing to do with them, so i don't think the x0xi0 can do anything with them
in order to have those controllable via MIDI you'd need quite a mod
there IS such for the TB-303 afaik

Damn, i was really hoping it sent the performance knobs as midi CC. I have a Syntecho TeeBee that does that. Maybe i won't swap over then :)
I fear it would be more than 'a mod', more like a redesign of the CPU board, some ADCs and Electronic Pots... hmmm, maybe a project for the future :)
Thanks for the reply...

If you have vcf cv in in your x0x and a supported sound card you can do automation with Silent way

You can all kind of cool things with silent way.
