Hello,
I'm trying to build on a solar powered phone charger. I've assembled everything exactly like this Instructable (http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to- ... aka-Might/).
Some differences is that I connected the solar panel through the barrel jack connector on the Lithium Battery charger (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12711). Also, the Minty Booster is connected to the Lithium Battery charger (SYS OUT port) through a Barrel Jack to JST connector (http://www.frys.com/product/7726848?sit ... IN_RSLT_PG). I've cut the barrel jack off and stripped the wire down to one red and one black wire. The one red and one black wire ends looked like copper and I soldered them onto the Minty Booster holes marked + and -.
The red light on the Lithium Battery charger lights up when the solar panel or power source is connected. When a device is plugged into the USB port, nothing charges. Is the Minty Booster kit not functioning?
Please let me know if you need more pictures of my project. Thank you for your help.

Re: Solar Powered Minty Booster Charger
Have you tested to see if there is power in to the MintyBoost? Also check the output of the mintyboost when you have stable power going in.
