Hello,
I am hoping to embed a Blinkytape operated by a MintyBoost but triggered on by the presence of a magnet. Could these two items work with a Reed Switch like this?

Or other?
Thanks for your advice!

Re: MintyBoost, Blinkytape and a Reed Swich?
Depends on how you wire it up and how many LEDs you have.
That reed switch can only carry 1A. I don't think you would want to have it directly powering the LEDs or the MintyBoost.
Consider attaching the switch to a relay or transistor to carry the power.

Re: MintyBoost, Blinkytape and a Reed Swich?
Hi Rick,
Thank you for your reply and help! Just to clarify. I am thinking of powering only 1 Blinky Tape that I purchased from Adafruit: https://www.adafruit.com/products/1605 powered by the MIntyboost and the Reed previously mentioned.
Could you recommend an Adafruit "relay or transistor to carry the power" that I can buy in this configuration? Do I need to purchase any other supplies besides electrical wire?
